ddigest
Terms of Use
Last updated: 16 May 2026
These terms govern your use of the ddigest mobile app and supporting services (together, the “Service”), operated by doctor context. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms.
Who the Service is for
ddigest is intended for licensed medical practitioners in India. By using it you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and either practicing or training under a registered medical authority.
Not medical advice
ddigest summarises and links to peer-reviewed research. It does not provide medical advice and is not a diagnostic, treatment, or clinical decision-support tool. Nothing shown in the app is a substitute for your independent clinical judgment and your duty of care to your patients. Read the original paper before changing practice. Card summaries are auto-generated by a large language model and may contain errors, omissions, or simplifications.
Your account
You sign in with a phone number and one-time password. You are responsible for keeping access to that phone number secure. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Attempt to defeat, probe, or stress-test the authentication, rate limits, or backend infrastructure of the Service.
- Scrape, redistribute, or republish bulk feed content. Card text and implication lines are generated for in-app reading; the underlying papers are freely available at the linked sources for your own retrieval.
- Use the Service to harm or harass anyone, or in any way that violates applicable law or the rights of others.
- Use another person’s phone number without permission.
Content sources and copyright
Article metadata is sourced from PubMed (US National Library of Medicine) and medRxiv (Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory). The full text of each paper remains the copyright of its original publisher. Card titles, finding sentences, and implication lines shown in the app are derived works generated by ddigest for educational summarisation; the citation and link to the original source are always included.
Service availability
The Service is provided as-is and on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, that the feed will refresh on any particular schedule, or that any specific paper will or will not appear.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, doctor context and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including any clinical outcome attributable in any part to information shown in the app. Your sole remedy if you are dissatisfied is to stop using the Service.
Termination
You may delete your account at any time by emailing adhyan2095@gmail.com. We may suspend or terminate access without notice if we reasonably believe you have breached these terms or attempted to harm the Service or its users.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified in-app before they take effect, and the “Last updated” date above will reflect the change.
