Common questions

I am not receiving the OTP SMS.

OTPs are delivered via MSG91 in India. Delivery typically takes 5–30 seconds. If nothing arrives within a minute: confirm the phone number is in E.164 format with the country code, wait at least 60 seconds before requesting a new code (rate-limited to 3 requests per hour), and check that SMS from short-codes is not being blocked by your carrier.

I entered the wrong OTP too many times.

After 5 wrong attempts, the OTP is invalidated. Tap “Resend OTP” to get a new one. If you have hit the hourly limit, please wait an hour and try again, or email support and we will reset it for you.

I changed phones / lost access to my number.

Account recovery is manual right now. Email us from any address with verification of who you are, and we will migrate or remove the account.

How do I delete my account and data?

Email adhyan2095@gmail.com from the phone-associated mailbox, or include the phone number you registered with. We permanently delete your account row, preferences, and saved actions within 30 days. See the Privacy Policy for the full list of what is removed.

The card recommendations do not match my specialty.

Open Settings → Specialty and review your sub-specialty selections and India-relevance preference. The feed is filtered on the next refresh. If a specific card looks off-topic, use the Skip action and choose a reason — we use that signal to improve the classifier.

The app is for which doctors?

V1 is scoped to neurosurgeons practicing in India (spine, neuro-oncology, vascular, skull-base, functional, pediatric). Other specialties will follow once V1 is validated.

Is ddigest a medical device?

No. ddigest summarises and links to peer-reviewed research for the continuing education of licensed practitioners. It does not diagnose, treat, or make clinical recommendations for individual patients. Treatment decisions remain entirely the responsibility of the treating clinician.
